Sinead Norenius
Founder
After 14 years of being at the helm of industry trends for the cosmetics and skincare industry, Sinead, a licensed aesthetician, make up artist and educator, saw a missing link between the availability of product education and the end consumer. With her experience as a blogger (www.selftanningqueen.com), she knew there had to be a better way for consumers to interact with a brand. Her mission since then has been to allow the consumers to have a voice in the product, the messaging, the packaging and even the website and thus Antidote Skin Care was born.
Sinead began her career in the medical arena running an aesthetic department for a predominant plastic surgeon in Orange County, CA. She went on to sell medical lasers and microdermabrasion equipment for a medical device company before working for a variety of professional skin care brands such as Yonka Paris and True Cosmetics. Within these organizations, she took on various roles such as education and sales management. In 2005, Sinead co-founded The Beauty Firm, a marketing and business development firm, where she worked directly with companies such as Mineral Essence, Asha Couture, Open Road Holdings Inc - DBA- Girly Girl Products and Biologica. Most recently, she worked for St. Tropez Tan as their Director of Education for North America, where she worked directly with the entire sales department to form strategic partnerships and acquisitions of large-scale accounts and resort spas.
At Antidote, Sinead brings a vivacious sense of charm, fun, and warmth that infuse the core of the Antidote Skin Care culture. She's also known to love the word “perfect” a lot!
